Light 'em Up

This weekend, Sound Transit turns on the juice for light rail testing.

If I listen closely, I can hear the buzzing of the old Lionel Model KW:

Nice! I remember the ZW. Man... what to do with all those trains in my dad's basement? Did you hear Lionel just re-emerged from bankrupcy?

Well, I was going to say that what you do with all those trains is to run them, but then I remembered- that's why I went to LGB- it stays on the rails.

But if you have the track, get them out in the garden for the summer. Careful, though- it can be habit-forming.

Frank,

I wonder if you would be interested in a new site, www.examiner.com/seattle. I am the content director. We need a transit writer/blogger to tell the larger seattle community what's going on.
would love to chat.
