No CBH?
I appreciate the micro-targeting as much as the next guy, but is it odd to anyone else that none of the the new Yes on Prop. 1 ads, including the Pierce County ones, mention the controversial Cross Base Highway?
To me, this is more evidence that even the supporters of the plan don't think it's going to get built.

It's obvious that pro highway folks downplay the cross-base highway because it's an albatross that polls badly. I suspect that most of them would have chosen to ditch CBH if Ladenburg hadn't threatened to kill Prop 1 without it.
It's whistling past the graveyard to pretend that the asphalt lobby isn't determined to build the thing.
The Yes on Prop 1 ads don't tell you about CBH, nor do they tell the inconvenient truth that Prop 1 will make global warming worse.
